Lessons I learned in 2013

Like earlier years of my life, this year too has been a great learning year. I learned a lot especially on Investing Money and Time (Now have become my favorites).

The main Goal of 2014 year is again learning big secrets of Investing Money, building Network and read lots and lots of books on Investment Strategies and Self-Development. Fingers crossed.

lessons-learnedHere are the listed lessons which I learned in this wonderful year of mine. 🙂

  1. Always have patience.
  2. Don’t fool yourself. If you complete your goal, celebrate and if you fail, find a way to criticise yourself.
  3. Always take responsibility.
  4. Surround yourself with people who makes you Smile, Happy and are Positive.
  5. Don’t join easy crowd. Go where the pressure to perform is high.
  6. Never waste your time. Utilize your time in self-development.
  7. Always Trust your fellows. Never at any cost mistrust your loved ones.
  8. Learned lots of new lessons and secrets on Investment Strategies. (This is also my 2014 Goal.)
  9. Don’t spend Money and Time which has depreciating values.
  10. Your life changes when you change.
  11. It doesn’t depend how much time you work for, what truly matters is the value you are putting in time of working.
  12. You always reap, what you sow. There is no shortcut for success and learning.
  13. Always have a short-term and long-term visions for your Personal developments, Financial planning and most importantly your Life.
  14. Always have courage. What scares you the most, do that first.
  15. Take Risks.
  16. When you face any problems or an obstacle, spend more time and effort on solution rather than the problem.
  17. Always test your Brain, Heart and Emotions in tough times.
  18. Keep emotions in check.
  19. Pen down (or keep records) the new learnings in your diary.
  20. Gain knowledge and take Actions accordingly.
  21. When you don’t feel like doing any productive work like reading or working for your goals, take an off. Don’t work or read with absent-minded.

And finally the best one which I learned last month: I know nothing (Don’t assume a single second that you have become the Smartest person), so will keep learning till I die.

Keep Smiling… 🙂

The ASAP Model

Life is all about learning and implementing. We start learning from our childhood and become smart kids even before we enter into the so-called ‘Teenage Years’ or we get smashed by life and learn from our experiences.

ASAP Model

Learning from books, from parents or from experiences give us an identity, a unique personality which puts us in a different league, a league of smart intellectuals which not only enhances our professional lives but also makes our personal lives livable and inspirational.

From the very start of our life, we must inject positive thinking. Whatever situations we fall into, we must always be calm and patient. We must not panic or ever lose hope, no matter what the results are.

“We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.”

– Martin Luther King Jr.

Yes, reading between the lines is quite easy but practically it is not as easy or simple as it seems especially in our learning days or when we were kids. Even when I was a kid I never thought about negative or positive impacts on lives. I never allowed my mind to get indulged with positive attitudes, so how can I expect a small kid to have these embedded into theirs. Basically we never cared about these ecstatic words.

My father always told me, ”You must always greet your elders in the morning with a smile and must respect your relatives and friends.”

Similarly, we can have a positive approach for every problem we face with a Smile. Mr. Jeff BotchJeff Botch, a prolific and passionate writer and inspirational personality says, “From the moment a person wakes up in the morning they have a choice to have a positive attitude or a negative attitude. Personally, I wake up and tell myself that I am going to have an awesome day! I try to smile at people I pass and greet them with a positive greeting. We have an obligation to pull people up rather than drag them down with our negative expressions and attitudes.

Nicely and beautifully said, I continue to mention in my articles that smiling has an enormous strength which can make a person energetic instantly (Read my article, Smile has Greatest Wavelength). We have a responsibility to pull our neighbors up by complementing.  It rejuvenate us.

Mr. Jeff Botch, Regional Sales Manager by Profession has created a development plan, coined ASAP Model. Obviously it doesn’t stand for ‘As Soon As Possible”.  It is a Development Formula created by Mr. Jeff which enhances our personal development, stands for “ATTITUDE, SELF DEVELOPMENT, ACTION AND PERSISTENCE”.

In addition to this, I call it the “Fabulous 4” and every word directly depends on the other. If even one is missing then it directly impacts our life which further reflects on our Family/Society. We determine our attitude which develops us not externally but from internally and that can be seen in our actions and to achieve this we need to be persistent and consistent, just like a great player in his or her sport.

“Staying Healthy and Consistent is paramount”

– Shawn Johnson

We have to be disciplined in our actions, in our attitude and have patience and always keep smiling. It is not a one day or one year or one decade process.  It is a Life Process. We have to be a consistent player throughout our life and when we become consistent we enter the league of legends like Mahatma Gandhi, Maya Angelou and Martin Luther King, Jr. to name a few.

Always try to learn as much as possible and make your life a blast, an inspiration to others and never forget to smile in every situation.

Keep Smiling.. 🙂
