Leave Mark like a Pencil

The Pencil maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

“There are five things you need to know.” pencil maker said.

One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in someone’s hand.

Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you will need it to become a better pencil.

Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.leave mark

Four: The most important part of you will always be what’s inside.

Five: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write.

Wow! Great learning life experiences from a pencil, isn’t it?

We can learn a lot from this pencil and make our life inspirational.

Now replacing the place of the pencil with you.

Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.

One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be. And allow other human beings to access you for the many gifts you possess.

Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, by going through various problems in life, but you will need it to become a stronger and smarter person.

Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make. And you can erase your past which injects negativity.

Four: The most important part of you will always be what’s on the inside. Believe me, your attitude makes the difference.

Five:  On every surface you walk through, you must leave your mark. No matter what the situation is, you must continue to do your duties.

The ASAP Model

Life is all about learning and implementing. We start learning from our childhood and become smart kids even before we enter into the so-called ‘Teenage Years’ or we get smashed by life and learn from our experiences.

ASAP Model

Learning from books, from parents or from experiences give us an identity, a unique personality which puts us in a different league, a league of smart intellectuals which not only enhances our professional lives but also makes our personal lives livable and inspirational.

From the very start of our life, we must inject positive thinking. Whatever situations we fall into, we must always be calm and patient. We must not panic or ever lose hope, no matter what the results are.

“We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.”

– Martin Luther King Jr.

Yes, reading between the lines is quite easy but practically it is not as easy or simple as it seems especially in our learning days or when we were kids. Even when I was a kid I never thought about negative or positive impacts on lives. I never allowed my mind to get indulged with positive attitudes, so how can I expect a small kid to have these embedded into theirs. Basically we never cared about these ecstatic words.

My father always told me, ”You must always greet your elders in the morning with a smile and must respect your relatives and friends.”

Similarly, we can have a positive approach for every problem we face with a Smile. Mr. Jeff BotchJeff Botch, a prolific and passionate writer and inspirational personality says, “From the moment a person wakes up in the morning they have a choice to have a positive attitude or a negative attitude. Personally, I wake up and tell myself that I am going to have an awesome day! I try to smile at people I pass and greet them with a positive greeting. We have an obligation to pull people up rather than drag them down with our negative expressions and attitudes.

Nicely and beautifully said, I continue to mention in my articles that smiling has an enormous strength which can make a person energetic instantly (Read my article, Smile has Greatest Wavelength). We have a responsibility to pull our neighbors up by complementing.  It rejuvenate us.

Mr. Jeff Botch, Regional Sales Manager by Profession has created a development plan, coined ASAP Model. Obviously it doesn’t stand for ‘As Soon As Possible”.  It is a Development Formula created by Mr. Jeff which enhances our personal development, stands for “ATTITUDE, SELF DEVELOPMENT, ACTION AND PERSISTENCE”.

In addition to this, I call it the “Fabulous 4” and every word directly depends on the other. If even one is missing then it directly impacts our life which further reflects on our Family/Society. We determine our attitude which develops us not externally but from internally and that can be seen in our actions and to achieve this we need to be persistent and consistent, just like a great player in his or her sport.

“Staying Healthy and Consistent is paramount”

– Shawn Johnson

We have to be disciplined in our actions, in our attitude and have patience and always keep smiling. It is not a one day or one year or one decade process.  It is a Life Process. We have to be a consistent player throughout our life and when we become consistent we enter the league of legends like Mahatma Gandhi, Maya Angelou and Martin Luther King, Jr. to name a few.

Always try to learn as much as possible and make your life a blast, an inspiration to others and never forget to smile in every situation.

Keep Smiling.. 🙂

Life is Priceless

Yesterday I went to see a hindi film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ led by flamboyant superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Its romantic movie directed by evergreen legend late Yash Chopra who gave Indian cinema one of the greatest romantic movies.

The reason of discussing the movie here on this page is, there was a scene in which actor Anushka Sharma, playing a documentary film maker interviews Shah Rukh Khan donning the role of an Indian army officer named Major Samar. Samar was about to diffuse 98th bomb and never wore protection jacket in his entire army career.

She asks, “Why you don’t wear protection jacket before diffusing the bomb. “

He takes a pause and replies,

Life is more dangerous than a Bomb.”

He adds, “Bomb can kill you just once but Life kills you at every moment in your life span. Life is full of Treachery, Rejections, Betrayal and Fake which kills us at every interval. These are no lesser than bombs and if we can handle such situations then why to worry from such bombs.”

This dialog made me think, penetrated into my heart and stamped in my mind. So true, so profound.

Life teaches us. It teaches us at every moment.

“A hot metal takes shape only when it is beaten numerous times.”

Above line goes same with the Life. It’s up to us how we take such hits. I believe two things can take place.

Either we get crumbled and give in or we stand, face it and learn invaluable lessons from it.

It depends on us how we handle such situations, how much we learn and make our lives precious. Makes us mature as we grow.

It makes us stronger and mentally tough. We must learn all the lessons of our lives so that we can minimize the mistakes and make our lives more Inspirational and Beautiful. We must fight and most importantly, have patience.

In addition to this, we should also learn from other’s mistakes as well.

“The person is Smart who learns from his or her own mistake but s/he is Wiser when learns from others mistakes.”

We must always be positive and should never get distracted from obstacles and must not ever get disheartened from redundant criticisms. Filter out all the negative impacts and convert it into positive ones.

Let the positive rays penetrate into your soul, your veins and your mind.

Be positive and keep on rejuvenating yourselves every day. Inject the confidence and stand firm in front of such barriers. Plan and cross them.

Life is not miserable but it is one of the beautiful and priceless gift and we must make it memorable.

Keep Smiling… 🙂

Laugh Makes You Ageless

Life of a normal human being is between Seventies to Eighties and if lucky he or she can live up to Nineties.

If someone asks me, which is the best medicine for ageless then without any hesitation; my answer would be ‘Laugh’ and ‘Smile’.

There are numerous inspirational and heart touching stories where people across the world came out of death’s jaws. Not only wake up from death-bed but also lived happily and inspired people across the globe.

Others made their lives beautiful and inspired many of us. Many of them scored century and wrote their names in the record books.

One of the same story goes with a beautiful Indian couple from London.

One morning, I was scanning e-news on one of my favourite e-paper and my eyes got stuck when I read a headline ‘NRI couple world’s longest married couple.’

Who doesn’t want to learn the secret of long living and especially with one of our precious gift, our spouse or partner?

This 107 year old Mr. Karam and his wife Katari Chand, aged 100 an NRI Indian couple lives in London and have been together since long 87 years. They are way ahead the Platinum jubilee. When asked the secret of this happy and lovely journey, Mr. Karam enthusiastically replied,

My trick is to make Katari (his wife) laugh. I like to tell jokes and make her smile. Being funny is my way of being romantic.”

Furthermore, he adds, “I have been told laughing makes you live longer. My wife is still alive so it must have worked! I love her so much and I want to spend another 80 years by her side.”

Isn’t this Inspirational and Motivational?

Enthusiasm reflects in their words and it can be seen from their life. Believe me, for such magnificent and novel life we must bury our Egos, Anger, Grudges, Grievances and Bitterness.

The more we get rid of such anti social elements, the more our lives will be Happier and Efficacious and creates favorable and beneficial conditions in our married lives and society.

“Laughing Makes Your Live Longer.”

Nicely said and beautifully implemented by this statuesque couple. Results are in front of us.

Laugh is the true vaccine which was invented and discovered even before the creation of the human beings.

Life is beautiful and we must learn the ways to make it more precious and inspirational.

Live, Love, Laugh and make your life more gracious.

Keep Smiling… 🙂
