Life is Amazing

In Burdens dont seek Pardons

How do you react or mold yourself, when tasks or heavy work is dumped on your shoulders?

Lets go through this simple yet motivational (actually fictional) story about birds and their wings. It may give you some direction. 🙂

There is a fable about the way birds first got their wings. The story goes that initially they were made without them. The God made the wings, set them down before the wingless birds and said to them, “Take up these burdens and carry them.”

The birds had sweet voices for singing and lovely glittering feathers that glistened in the sunshine, but they could not soar in the air. When asked to pick the burdens that lay in their feet, they hesitated at first. Yet soon they obeyed, picked up the wings with their beaks  and set them on their shoulders to carry them. For a short time the load seemed heavy and difficult to bear, but soon, as they continued to carry the burden and to fold the wings over their hearts, the wings quickly grew attached to their little bodies. They quickly discovered how to use them and were lifted by the wings high into the air with gentle pressure.

The weights had become wings.bird

This is a parable for us.

How?

Let see..

We are the wingless birds and our duties and tasks are the wings. God uses to lift us up. He tests us with these tasks. We look at our burdens and heavy loads and try to get rid of it, but if we will carry them and tie them to our hearts, they will become wings. And on them we can then rise and soar toward acme, towards success.

These heavy burdens when lifted cheerfully with love in our hearts, will surely become a blessings to us. God intends for our tasks to be our helpers; to refuse to bend our shoulders to carry a load is to miss the new opportunity  for growth. No matter how overwhelming any burden God has lovingly placed with his own hands on our shoulders is a blessing.

We must never run away from tasks, duties and responsibilities as they make us. Running away from them is not a solution but it is like missing a better opportunity.

Which category you come into?

People say, this world is full of millions of people with their mixed emotions. If I will ask you to categorize the types of people according to their emotions and the way they behave, how many categories will you draw?

Hundreds? Or thousands? Putting population in mind, may be billions.

If you will ask me to categorize into different categories, I will divide them in to just TWO categories. (Obviously I may be wrong as it depends on person to person.)

CategoryLets see.

According to me, there are 2 types of Person in this world….

  1. One who listens, other who speaks.
  2. One who understand and learn the Life lessons at right time, others whom Life teaches the lesson.
  3. One who learn from others Smartness, others who behave themselves as Smart.
  4. One who learn from others Mistakes, other who learn from their own Mistakes.
  5. One who enhances Satisfaction, others who enhances Frustration.
  6. One who don’t react to Critics and their Criticisms, others who overreact.
  7. One who controls Anger, others who get controlled by anger.
  8. One who Smile in every situations, others whose smile depends on their moods.
  9. One who enhances Positivity, others who suppress Positivity.
  10. One who accepts own Mistakes, others who Blame.

Finally, I can draw two categories, one I call it Mature-Optimist and other I call it Immature-Pessimist.

No Strife, No Life

Life_Updowns

When we were kids, we enjoyed every moments of our life. When we grew older and entered in teen’s worlds, we got to know a bit about life like a newly born bird comes out of nest and face the dirty world. We started feeling minute level of pressures especially in exams or our so-called-love-life as we indulged ourselves in our love though it was just an infatuation.

As soon as we enter in the world of professionals and corporate we got the real taste of life. When we got married and have family we got to know the word ‘Responsibility’.

Life is not a linear. It’s like stock market graph chart. Rise and falls, ups and downs. stock graphTwists and turns.

When we wake up in the morning we feel fresh and morning dew and fragrance make us rejuvenated. As the day proceed and things keep coming on us, our mood starts fluctuating. Cause of fluctuation may be office work, relationships, family or any external forces. Whatever the reason be, it spontaneously changes our mood and we feel disheartened or happy.

When we talk this at macro level, we call it Life.

life-is-like-a-roller-coaster

Life is like a roller coaster ride. It gives you bumps at every interval.

Rather than taking it as a frightening experience, we must take it as a learning experience. We must enjoy the ride like we enjoy a roller coaster ride.

I love it when I feel pressure. I love it when I pass through bad phase. I love it when some irrelevant weeds crop up in my life.

Because these, teach me lessons. I learn a lot, examine others and try to find out how to react on these circumstances and trust me this is extremely helpful for our future when we may (obviously will) face bigger issues than today. At that time, we can link to those issues with we faced earlier in life which gives us hint for the optimum solution. It gives us energy to handle the pressure. It teaches us to stay calm in these tougher situations and our maturity level increases.

I personally, have seen many matured people who react weirdly when they face tough situations. They start blaming, shouting and sometimes start badmouthing. You must have seen big politicians, celebrities reacting to media. You guessed right, who enjoys the game and who gets trapped, we all know.

I won’t say, they lose their temper after getting bombarded with these bad happenings, rather I would say they get trapped by these situations. Guess what, we keep repeating the mistakes going forward and never learn.

In these tough situations of life or controversies we must never:

  1. Lose temper
  2. Get panic
  3. Get frightened
  4. Speak abruptly and
  5. React

Just stay calm and be silence for the time being.  Take a deep breath, hold it, count 10 and release slowly. Do it for three times and you will get a solution and feel relaxed.

Go to a calm serene place and think twice, thrice before uttering a single word because harsh words can ruin someone’s life and yours for sure.

These are just temporary and will leave but if not handled properly and smartly will give you a deep impact on your life.

Attitude is Fulcrum of Our Life

Attitude does matter a lot. It’s not what we see from outside and react but it’s what we are from inside and behave.

“Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.”

Zig Ziglar

Attitude is a Fulcrum. Life and Relationships are players sitting on the both the ends of see-saw. A small drift of this point may give ripples in our lives. It can change our description, our mentality and may be our soul. This directly reflects in our society.

I just read a nice story about Attitude from one of my app in my smart phone.

There was a man who used to sell balloons for his living. Balloon Seller had all colours of balloons like Yellow, Red, Green and Pink.

Whenever he sees dip in his business, he would release a helium-filled balloon into the air and when children saw it going up, they get excited and crave for the balloons and wanted to buy and his sales would go up.

He used to follow this technique often, mostly few numbers of times every day.

One day, a kid was playing in the open garden and saw a man selling balloons nearby. He ran towards him.

He saw upwards and asked the balloon seller, “If you release a Black balloon, would that also fly?

Balloon Seller smiled and replied politely, “Young man, it is not the colour of the balloon; it is what is inside it, makes it go up.”

Attitude may be a small word but it has tonnes of Weight. A bad attitude can weigh us down. It can throw us from society.

If people or friends see a bad attitude in yours then you must change it as soon as possible otherwise it will change you forever. It is not less dangerous than cancerous virus.

I believe we are responsible for our own attitudes and we are the only one who can change ourselves and our attitude.

We can read positive attitude books and implement (Yes implement otherwise there is no use of reading books just for sake), we must have a bunch of positive people/group around us.

We must control our Emotions and most importantly our Anger. We must always Smile and never React no matter whatever the situation is.

There could be any which you can adopt. The bottom line is, it must help you change your attitude.

Attitude always crops Happiness and Positivity. Trust me, a good attitude always rejuvenate us. A person with good attitude can blast out the negativity from society.

“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.”

Winston Churchill
