Happy New Year

2013 year has been a splendid year for all of us. If (some of you) are thinking otherwise about 2013 and feel that it was quite a tough year, then think again!

Every year (with time) brings new hope, brings new experiences, brings new confidence, brings new positive expectations, brings new aspirations and all these lead to new learnings, new lessons of life, humanity and happiness.

Tough time, mournful days and soreness are just imaginary words which doesn’t exists. These all are, I believe (I may be wrong) is state of mind. When we face tough times, it actually give us a chance to learn. It gives us chance to sharpen our mental knives. These situations make us tougher and we must learn from these conditions rather than blaming our time, current year or luck.

We all have learned a lot in these earlier flourishing years and will enjoy its returns till our death-bed. Every year teaches us something new and brings new challenges which makes us smarter, wiser and intellectual.

Year 2013 brought smiles on our lips, rejuvenated us, built new as well as strengthen relationships. We met old friends, erased our grudges with those who hurt us in the past, inspired many and got inspired, did mistakes and learned from those mistakes. In the midst of this topsy-turvy ride we never forgot to smile and never lost courage. We bounced back with a bang and achieved acme.

Today on the last day of this incredible 2013, I am personally grateful for all your tremendous support, precious guidance and life changing tips which made my year. We are entering into 2014 with beautiful treasured memories which will water our soul throughout our life.

I wish you a very beautiful, rewarding new year filled with positive thoughts, abundance, joy, and treasured moments.

May 2014 be your best year yet!

Please take care of yourself as you are apple of someone’s eyes.

Keep Smiling… 🙂

Shake dirt and take a step

How do you define ‘Life’?

life-lifes-up-downs

You ask a teenager about life, he or she will define life a hilarious and enjoyable jaunty journey.

If asked to elders, they will share their invaluable experiences about life.

If you ask me, I would say, ‘Life is a learning lesson’.

Life teachLife is full of ups and downs. Even if you are born with a golden spoon, someday life will teach you a lesson. Every day we learn something from it which makes us smarter and wiser. Take lessons as a stepping stones, which support our future just like a spinal cord and make us stronger. It helps us to crack down the complex issues.

It depends on us how we take life, learn from it and how we use these lessons like a key in tough times just like the donkey did in this motivational story, a story of a Donkey and his master.*

Story goes like this.

One fine day, a farmer was going to the market with his old donkey. Donkey did not notice the pit and unfortunately fell down into it.

The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.

Finally, he came to conclusion and decided that the animal was old, and the pit needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He called all his friends to come over and help him.

They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the pit.

Initially, stony dirt hit the animal and with each dirt he cried horrendously.

Then, to everyone’s amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the pit. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing.

He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer’s friends continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

Moral of the Story:

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the pit is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Clear the Ego and see the World

Would you prefer to experience a dusty storm or a foggy dawn?

The answer is simple. No one would choose a dusty storm, so how can we surround ourselves with egotistical people. The ego and its impact are as large as a nuclear explosion. It explodes internally and vandalizes our soul and smashes our heart.

clear the ego

Egotistical people have trouble in their careers and personal lives. They are close minded and their careers can often be compared to a parabola, it crumbles after a short period.

Here are a few of the most noticeable features of egotistical people:

  • They are jealous of other people’s success.
  • They can’t stand to see other people happy.
  • They are consumed with their own success and will go to great lengths to achieve it.
  • They take joy in harming or destroying the professional lives of others.
  • They are not team players.
  • They lack leadership skills.
  • They always try to show their superiority.
  • They always portray themselves as smarter than others.
  • They are selfish.
  • They only care for themselves.

Ego is like a cancer and pain will surely come from it.  Always avoid these people as their negativity can actually make you mentally unconscious. They will suck all your energy and make you feel dumb.

The ego is a fascinating monster.

Alanis Morissette

Humans are meant to change the world and we must change our society by spreading love and happiness rather than being egotistical and spreading hatred.

“The more you give, the more you get.”

So always have foresight and help others without being selfish.  Uproot your ego from your heart and soul and be a helping hand to society.

If society is beautiful then so you are.

Hammer Makes Us Tougher

Which one you would like to have at your home or office, a simple Rock or Sculpture?

A simple rock seems to be useless and has no value while statues decorate our homes.

It takes thousands hammerings, patience and time to make such Incredible and Unbelievable piece.

Sculpturers engrave and scratch at micro level to make it more beautiful and priceless. People can even pay thousands of dollars for these carved sculptures.

You must be thinking, why I am talking about sculptures here.

These above written sentences are synonym of our Life.

Life is full of Hammerings, which can be from Society, from Critics or from Colleagues or Peers at workplace.

All fingers are not same. Every day is not a Sunday.

Similarly, Life is full of Troughs and Crusts. And we have to pass through many transformations which makes our life Priceless and Worthy.

God tests our life.  We always have to pass through various downfalls in our lives and directly or indirectly have to deal with them.  Just like a sculpturer hammers rock to give it a beautiful shape, life hammers on us to make us Stronger and Tougher.  We should never get worried and frightened from such instances in our lives.

Rather, we must prepare us mentally fit and courageously withstand these obstacles with determination. We have to be calm and patient and should never surrender ourselves. It makes us mentally tough and injects confidence going forward in our life. It gives the most precious thing, Experience. We become smarter and sharper. These are life lessons and we must learn from them.

The more we receive such blows and knocks from our critics and society, the more we get tougher internally which makes us consistent. Living in the comfort zone is the biggest risk we actually take.

“If you don’t risk anything, you risk even more.”

– Erica Jong

It’s like hammering on us mentally and putting pressure on ourselves. If taken positively and courageously, we get to learn a lot from these downfalls.

Never get worried from such deterioration and never get collapsed from such knocks. An error can dismantle the statue into pieces; similarly a negative impact can destroy our life. Failures are part of life which if taken positively, gives us a ray of hope, make us a better and valued person.

The more hammers we get in life, the better, valued and respectable we would be.

Keep Smiling… 🙂
